　　本剧中所涉及的故事有一半根据真实的个案改编。
　　香港红十字会寻人服务组“恩明社”专为青少年、长者提供各类型社会服务，其中还成立了一个「寻人服务组」，专责替人寻找因战乱、天灾、搬迁或是家庭突变而失散的亲人。进取求好的康如枫（钟嘉欣 饰）、乐天积极的施亦谦（陈智燊 饰）、贪玩 精灵的冼洁贞（乐瞳 饰）、清贫电脑仔杨子基（陈伟洪 饰），在冷静理性的组长鲁文迪（蒋志光 饰）领导下，开展一个又一个艰苦的寻人历程。五个不同背景和性格的人怀著同一信念，尽最大努力让求助人与失散亲人团圆相聚。替别人寻回幸福的同时，他们亦经历了重新检视自我的过程……

　　电视剧《大浦东》以大时代为背景，聚焦陆家嘴、浦东洋泾老街的风云变幻，以时代中人物生活、工作、命运周折为小切口，细细讲述故事人物在浦东的开发开放中，勇于创新、艰苦创业的成长励志故事。
　　《大浦东》的故事以一张赠与纽约证交所董事长范尔霖的股票为开端，用镜头记录了浦东开发开放进程中浦东多个“中国第一”的诞生，以及贯通浦东浦西的杨浦大桥的落成……也记录下了世界经济大局投下的印记。这部剧展现的是30年间，上海基础设施建设的不断完善，尤其是在浦东开发开放的进程中，上海城市面貌的变化。观众能透过剧中与现实呼应的背景，看中国经济的飞速发展，看人民生活的显著改善。
　　该剧选择金融业为主线，由一个行业来阅读上海经济的发展、城市产业升级的步履。细致讲述了以赵海鹰、陈梦蕾、谢天阳、吴一白等为代表的年轻人在时代浪潮中把握机遇、追逐梦想的创业经历。历经波折甚至直面生死后，这群年轻人逐步实现君子豹变，完成对梦想的执着追求和向往。电视剧《大浦东》将赵海鹰的个人奋斗融合在时代、国家的发展变化中，展现了个人与时代、国家休戚与共的主题。

　　时为1948年冬，国共内战已经到了最后的白热化阶段，国民党兵败如山倒，中国共产党一统江山已成大势所趋。在即将落败之前，国民党政府企图将一批国宝虏至台湾，这个代号为“钟山一号”的任务最终落到了总统府外事秘书代薇（莫小棋 饰）的头上。代薇美艳高贵，被蒋介石称为“东方第一美人”，而她还有着极其复杂的身份。为了防止国宝流失，中共方面授意地下党成员“燕子”——国民党保密局南京站行动处少校陈丽红（甘婷婷 饰）联合同志们阻止国民党的行动。在此期间，各方势力纷纷介入其中，神秘的杀手“螳螂”也令事态更加扑朔迷离，险象环生。
　　所有人的爱恨情仇都与着纷纷乱世紧紧纠缠在了一起……

　　讲述了墨尔本市黑社会团伙1996年到2004年的真实活动，包括帮派之间的矛盾、械斗和火拼，以及由此产生的一系列谋杀案件，所使用的人名全都是真实的。根据该剧的描述，墨尔本最大的两个帮派是莫兰家族及其 "死对头" －－从家族中分裂出去 "单干" 的卡尔 威廉姆斯。Moran家族的骨乾成员包括路易斯、马克 和 杰森 莫兰，威廉姆斯家族的骨乾成员包括卡尔 威廉姆斯、托尼 莫科贝尔、安德鲁 文尼尔敏以及之后成为核心的维克多 布林卡特、蒂诺 迪布拉。此外，由阿方斯 甘吉塔诺、多梅尼克 嘉托、律师乔治 德芙特罗斯、马里奥 坎德罗组成的 "卡尔顿帮" ，以及由尼克 拉德夫领导的 "俄罗斯帮"，也是不容小觑的力量。

 John is a repressed man who is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad. When his failure to intervene in a violent confrontation in a playground brings his identity crisis to a head, John ups and moves his family to the rural idyll of Coldwater, as far away from London as possible. Upon arrival, John is quickly befriended by next-door neighbour Tommy, a charming, confident man, devoted husband to the local vicar Rebecca. He is a man of faith, a pillar of the community and self-appointed leader of the village’s all-male book group. John is both impressed and slightly fascinated by Tommy. His wife Fiona despises him. As a successful former chef hoping to launch a new venture in Coldwater, Fiona sees the move as an opportunity to leave the past behind them. To not only re-build their lives as a family but re-ignite the long-lost spark in their fading marriage. When her husband’s relationship with their enigmatic new neighbour becomes increasingly intense, Fiona’s suspicions are aroused. She is unconvinced Tommy is all he seems to be. But John remains blissfully unaware that Tommy is harbouring horrifying secrets, and it’s only after a series of unsettling incidents start to occur that John begins to wonder who the real Tommy actually is. And when John’s long-repressed rage comes to a head with disastrous results, he soon finds himself unexpectedly indebted to his new friend. This is the story of a normal man, in a normal marriage, who finds himself in a far from normal situation. A man who discovers a newfound sense of his own power, right at the moment he falls under the influence of someone incredibly dangerous.
