茶餐廳是香港特有的飲食文化，是一種代表香港的味道。茶餐廳起源於五十年代，由西餐廳、茶檔、冰室等混合演變而來，成為重要的平民飯堂。茶餐廳以前主要是三行等工人食平價飯的地方，到了今時今日，已是所有香港人的飯堂，大學教授、中環打工仔、退休人士、三歲小孩等都是茶餐廳的座上客，點一杯咖啡、奶茶、凍檸茶，加一客菠蘿油、沙嗲牛麵、常餐、男人的浪漫，舔舔脷，飽餐一頓。
